Why we want to be parents:
We have always wanted to be parents & create memories with our children. We have been blessed by wonderful relationships with our nieces, nephews, younger cousins, and friend’s children and believe God gave us the desire to be parents ourselves.
What activities we look forward to doing with a child:
Building forts, playing on playgrounds, exploring the outdoors, having them be a part of kids activities at our church, and celebrating holidays with them.
The people/pets who make up our family:
Our dog “Red” and our cat “Pete”

We are both Caucasian
Family celebrations that are important to us:
Christmas and Easter are important to our families as they are foundational to our Christian faith. We also enjoy Thanksgiving, as this is special time spent with family. We enjoy being on the water with our family for the 4th of July. We celebrate birthdays throughout the year for immediate and extended family members, which is always a joy to gather together for.

Fun activities we like to do:
Hike, ski/snowshoe, swim, play board games, watch movies, and anything outdoors or with family.
Where we live:
We live in a rural area, about 15 minutes from our town of 3,300 people. Although it is a smaller community, this has allowed us to have deeper connections within it.
Here are a few fun facts about each of us:
Addy started making sourdough recipes in the past year and has enjoyed experimenting with that. She also enjoys rock climbing, photography, creative writing, and gardening. Jonathan enjoys working out and has ran 3 marathons. He also writes and produces his own music and plays several different instruments.
One thing we would like the birth family to know about us/why we would be good parents:
We have had the desire to be parents for several years and we believe that the time of waiting has drawn us closer to God and each other. We believe we have the resources and strengths to support the child God places in our home.
