Bobby & Emma

Why we want to be parents:

We can’t wait to add to our family and to watch our child grow as they learn new things every day. We’re excited to teach them our family values like how to be a good person as our parents did for us, to encourage them to follow their dreams, and mostly, to be able to feel and give the unconditional love that parents have for their children.

What activities we look forward to doing with a child:

We are planning to get a camper soon and are looking forward to taking them on family trips camping and to see new places! We also look forward to teaching them the sports we love and/or any other activities they are interested in. We are excited to continue traditions with them and to start new ones as well.

The people/pets who make up our family:

Our direct family consists of just us and our 2 ½ year old Golden Retriever, Sadie. We have a lot of people in our immediate and extended families though!

Our ethnic/cultural background:

Bobby is Irish, Scottish and French. Emma is Irish, German and Dutch.

Family celebrations that are important to us:

Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Any religious identification:

Catholic

Fun activities we like to do:

Together we like to travel, golf, go to concerts, play softball, and ride bikes.

Where we live:

We live in a ranch style home in a nice suburban neighborhood in southeast Michigan. We have friends in our neighborhood that are always there to help and a lot of kids as well. We also have a fenced-in yard for our kids to play in and a couple of parks within walking distance!

A few fun facts about each of us:

  • We are a divided house – Bobby is a U of M fan and Emma loves MSU!
  • Our birthdays are 2 days apart.
  • We are both great at cooking, but Bobby cooks the most in our home.
  • We are dedicated Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings fans.

One thing we would like the birth family to know about us/why we would be good parents:

We want the birth family to know that their child will always be well provided for and loved immensely by us, our families and our friends.
